Football stars within reach

The aim of the event Football stars within reach was to offer not only Brno residents, but everyone from the South Moravian Region the opportunity to meet very important football players, famous athletes and experience an unforgettable day. The event took place on 7 June 2022 and was dedicated to families with children and the TJ Tatran Bohunice football club as part of a children's sports day with a rich accompanying programme.

During the event, football fans of all ages were able to meet with prominent football players, train with them, have them within reach and get advice from these players on improving their playing skills. We also focused on the coaches of the football club, who were able to play an exhibition football match against famous football players after the main training session to show their charges that they can actually play football.

An unforgettable aspect of the event was its social significance. It brought together well-known names, parents and children, friends and partners of the club, as well as city and regional officials.

We are very pleased that the event was attended by great football stars such as Jan Koller, Jan Polák, Marek Heinz, Tomas Necid, Marek Suchý, Pavel Zavadil, Mario Holek, Marek Střeštík, Luboš Kalouda and also important representatives of the Brno City Council, namely Mayor JUDr. Markéta Vaňková, 1st Deputy Mayor Mgr. Petr Hladík, Councillor for Sport Mgr. Jaroslav Suchý, Mayor of the Brno - Bohunice district Ing. Antonín Crha and Vice-Chairman of the National Sports Agency Ing. Markéta Kabourková.
